GENERAL QUESTIONS
The district is unable to provide transportation for students in our summer enrichment and remediation program.
Yes! In addition to providing push-in enrichment programming throughout the ESY program, we will also be running a session after ESY will have concluded.
The MTSD Summer offers cocurricular learning experiences that align directly with district programs. All programs are instructed by certified instructors that work within our school district. Participants in our programs can utilize the incredible 21st-century learning resources available to students in our district.
CURRICULAR QUESTIONS
Yes. In addition to having a full-time nurse, MTSD Summer will provide support services as needed (or directed) to our learners.
MTSD Summer | Season 3 features three opportunities for students to engage in applications of computer science and robotics: First Lego League, Project Code, and Summer of STEM (Grades 7-8 only). Please note that First Lego League is currently at capacity.
FINANCIAL & PAYMENT QUESTIONS
Our district has had the benefit to design and launch our summer program due to the NJDOE ESSER grant that was awarded in 2018. That grant has now run its course, but we want to continue to offer our students expansive learning opportunities that align with our curricular and co-curricular programs. Our registration fee allows us to hire our certified teachers, nurses, and materials/technology.
The two methods of payment we are currently accepting are Check/Money Order or digital payment via MySchoolBucks.
If paying by check, you can submit the check, payable to “Monroe Township Board of Education”, you the main office of your child’s school. You can also mail the check to: 423 Buckelew Avenue, Monroe Township, NJ.
If pay via MySchoolBucks, please be aware that there will be a nonrefundable 4.95% surcharge (collected by MySchoolBucks).
Many of our program offerings require the use of consumable learning resources. Some programs will require the use of instructional machinery, supplies, etc. Our prices are set to ensure our students have access to the materials and resources needed to optimize their experience.
