MTSD Enrichment Services and the Department for Careers Technology are excited to introduce you to our 4th-grade after-school Mars Rover VEX Go program, an engaging 21st-century learning opportunity for students of STEM to delve into the exciting worlds of robotics, engineering, and space exploration!

In this program, MTSD students will embark on a thrilling journey to explore the wonders of Mars, while learning essential STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) skills in a practical, interactive way. Through hands-on activities, collaborative projects, and exciting challenges, our participants will have the opportunity to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills—all while having a blast!

Our curriculum is designed to ignite curiosity and inspire a passion for learning. Our learners will have the chance to build their very own Mars Rover using VEX Go robotics kits, learn how to program it to navigate simulated Martian terrain, collect samples, and overcome obstacles just like real NASA engineers.

MTSD Enrichment Services and the Department for Careers Technology are thrilled to introduce you to our 5th-grade after-school Ocean Exploration VEX Go program, a captivating adventure that plunges future computer scientists into the fascinating world of marine science, robotics, and engineering!

In this program, students will dive deep into the mysteries of the ocean, discovering its wonders while honing essential STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) skills in an engaging and hands-on manner. Through immersive activities, collaborative projects, and thrilling challenges, your child will embark on a journey of exploration and discovery that will ignite their curiosity and inspire a lifelong love for learning.

Our curriculum is thoughtfully crafted to blend marine science with robotics and engineering principles. Our students will have the opportunity to build their very own underwater rover using VEX Go robotics kits, learning how to program it to navigate through simulated underwater environments, collect data, and explore the ocean floor just like real-life marine scientists.
